The Windsor-Detroit Tunnel offers duty free shopping to our customers. Duty free shopping is a special benefit, allowed by both governments, for individuals traveling between the US and Canada. Individuals can purchase merchandise at prices which exclude all federal, provincial, and importation taxes normally applied (within limits set by the US and Canadian governments). This can mean savings of 20% to 50% off the normal retail price for many brand name products.

We have two on site locations offering competitive rates to visitors who wish to exchange their money. The Tunnel's money exchange sites have convenient hours of operation to serve you day and night to help you avoid line-ups at the major local attractions.
